Steve Burgh has produced albums for David Bromberg and Steve Forbert and has played with legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Sinatra, and Billy Joel.

Dear Friends: It is with great sadness that I report the death of my dear friend and producer Steve Burgh, who died Monday Feb. 7, 2005, in Kingston, NY. Unknown Rider was one of his last projects. A tremendously talented musican, producer, and artist, his career included stints with Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Forbert, Billy Joel, Phoebe Snow, Steve Goodman, and many, many others. He will be sorely missed.  Funeral services for Steve were held Thursday, Feb. 10th, 2005. I was unable to attend Steve's funeral, but I dedicated my performance that evening in Omaha, NE, to his memory. For those who believe in such stuff, send a prayer out for his kids, Juliet and Louis.
